Privacy Policy

Last updated November 5, 2026. In short: we collect only what you send us in the inquiry form, we use it to reply to you, and we do not sell it.

Who this policy covers

This policy applies to kodevine.com, the website of KodeVine, a software development and AI consulting company that serves businesses across the United States. It explains what information the site collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

What we collect

We collect information only when you send it to us through the project inquiry form on the Contact page. The form asks for:

  • your name and work email address (required),
  • your company name and the service you are interested in (optional),
  • a description of what you are trying to build or improve (required).

Please do not include passwords, payment card numbers, government ID numbers, or health information in your message. We do not need them to start a conversation.

If you email us directly at info@kodevine.com, we receive your email address and whatever you write.

How we use it

We use your inquiry to read it, reply to you, and discuss whether and how we can help. We may keep it as a record of the conversation. We do not use it to send newsletters or marketing email unless you ask us to, and we do not sell it.

Where it is stored and who can see it

Each inquiry is saved in the private administration area of our website and is also emailed to a KodeVine inbox. Only people at KodeVine who handle inquiries can read it.

The website is hosted by Hostinger, and our email is provided through Hostinger and Gmail, so your inquiry passes through those services as part of normal hosting and email delivery. We do not share your inquiry with advertisers or data brokers. We may disclose information if the law requires it.

Spam protection and technical data

To keep automated spam out, the form includes a hidden field and a short timing check, and the server limits how many submissions one connection can make in a short period. For that limit the server briefly uses a scrambled version of your IP address. Our web host and security software also keep standard server logs, which can include IP addresses and browser details, to protect and operate the site.

Cookies, analytics, and the chat assistant

The site does not use advertising tools or set advertising cookies. It does use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are useful. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (named like _ga) in your browser and receives your approximate location, device and browser type, the pages you view, and how you arrived at the site. We turned off Google signals and ad personalization, and we do not send the contents of your inquiry to Google Analytics. Google processes this data under its own terms.

You can opt out by turning on the Do Not Track setting in your browser, by blocking cookies, or by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The site still works if you do.

The “Ask us a question” assistant answers from the text already published on this site. It runs in your browser, and what you type into it is not sent to our server or to an AI provider. If you want us to see something, use the inquiry form.

How long we keep it

We keep an inquiry for as long as we need it to respond and to keep a reasonable business record of the conversation. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.

Your choices

You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email info@kodevine.com from the address you used, and we will respond within a reasonable time. Residents of some states, including California, have additional rights under state privacy laws. We honor those requests when they apply to us.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Children

This site is written for business owners and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of the page. The version on this page is the current one.
